Or what about the possibility of listing the parts he sells/are currently in his car in a same-size set of decals down one side of the hood/front of the car?
IMO, the five provided ideas at the top can also be found on a 99 honda civic.. Your ideas are a lot cleaner, look more like they belong on this time-attack car. I understand that magazines want more flash and flare, but I can't bring myself to believe they want to see tribal or bad color mixes on the sides of these cars. If I were him, I'd stick with your designs and see about incorporating the products used cleanly on his car, all vinyl in one or two colors that flow with the color of the car. Damn I wish I had PS at work... Just my 10 cents
